Press Corps
The media are an essential part of our life, spreading information and contributing to shape the opinions of citizens and decision-makers alike. At PAMUN, the Press Corps should appeal to a select group of students with experience in writing & photography, willing to combine aesthetic taste, investigative skills, dynamism and enthusiasm and a willingness to work under pressure to meet deadlines, in order to publish a daily newspaper highlighting conference events. An application for the Press Corps is attached and can also be downloaded from our website: www.asparis.org/pamun. It should outline the applicant’s journalistic experience, familiarity with the computer, knowledge of international affairs and MUN or other (such as HMCE) relevant experience. Applicants are recommended to send a few examples of their work, such as articles published in their school newspapers, and should also indicate their desired working area: photography, reporting, or lay-out editing. Application forms, together with a letter from the student and a short letter of recommendation from their MUN director, should reach PAMUN by October 1, 2007.
